Social Media Marketing Intern — TikTok & Instagram (Paid)
St. Petersburg, FL (Hybrid) • Independent Contractor, 5 hrs/week
Rosterhunter is a recruiting platform that helps U.S. high school athletes find real roster openings and connect directly with college coaches. We're looking for a college student in the Tampa Bay area to build and run our social presence from the ground up.
What you'll do
- Launch and grow our TikTok from scratch — filming, editing, and posting
- Manage our Instagram — feed posts, Stories, and Reels
- Maintain a simple content calendar to keep posting consistent
- Engage with comments and DMs, and stay active in the HS/college sports and recruiting community
What we're looking for
- Currently enrolled college student based in the Tampa Bay area
- Comfortable filming and editing short-form video independently
- Active on TikTok and/or Instagram with a good sense of what performs
- Self-directed — able to plan and run your own content calendar with light check-ins
- Familiarity with high school or college sports is a plus, not required
Engagement details
- Independent contractor role — 5 hours/week
- $500/month, paid monthly
- Month-to-month term, with the option to extend based on fit
- Primarily remote, with one in-person check-in every 2 weeks in the Tampa Bay area
- Strong performance is a great foundation for a future recommendation
